The Sensory Station is a family-owned Australian business passionate about making sensory regulation more accessible, empowering and accepted for people of all ages.
Built from both lived experience and over 12 years of experience within the disability support field, we understand the importance of having the right tools to support comfort, engagement, movement and everyday activities.
At The Sensory Station, we believe sensory support should feel fun, inclusive and easy to access — not something hidden or misunderstood. That’s why we carefully source and create fidgets, tactile tools, chew accessories, activity products and interactive toys designed for a wide range of ages, interests and everyday routines.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Beth, founder of The Sensory Station.

The Sensory Station was born from a lifelong dream, a whole lot of passion, and a belief that regulation should never be something people feel embarrassed or ashamed about.
I believe every person deserves to feel comfortable, supported and empowered with the tools they need to navigate the world in a way that works for them. Whether that's a fidget in their pocket, a sensory tool in their bag, a chewy around their neck, or a comfort item they simply can't leave home without, everyone deserves the freedom to regulate in a way that feels right for them.
As a foster mum to a child with special needs and someone who has worked in the disability sector for over 10 years, I've seen firsthand how overwhelming and challenging life can sometimes be for people with disabilities, neurodivergent individuals and their families. I've also had the privilege of witnessing incredible resilience, creativity, courage and joy.
One of the greatest inspirations behind The Sensory Station is my beautiful, kind-hearted foster son Loki.
Every day, he reminds me of the importance of being unapologetically yourself. Whether he's carrying around his sensory toothbrush, a favourite fidget, or a little Lego motor that brings him comfort, he isn't worried about what anyone else thinks.
Watching him navigate the world in his own unique way has taught me something incredibly important.
The goal should never be to mould people into society's expectations.
The goal should be creating a world where people feel accepted, supported and celebrated exactly as they are.
For far too long, sensory tools, fidgets and regulation supports have been misunderstood. Many people have felt judged for using them, hidden them away, or gone without the support they genuinely needed because they were worried about what others might think.
I want to help change that.
My mission is to make regulation mainstream. To create a world where sensory supports are as normal as wearing glasses, carrying a water bottle or using headphones. A world where people feel confident using the tools that work best for them.
The Sensory Station is more than just a store. It's a passion project built on acceptance, creativity, understanding and inclusion. Every product we choose, create and share is done with the hope of bringing a little more joy, creativity, and fun to everyday life.
There is already so much negativity in the world. Through The Sensory Station, my mission is to spread kindness, creativity, passion and understanding. I want this business to be a place where people feel seen, supported and celebrated. A place where families know they are not alone, and where regulation is embraced rather than hidden.
From my family to yours, thank you for being here.
Thank you for supporting our small family business, believing in our mission, and helping us create a world where everyone feels comfortable being exactly who they are.
With gratitude,
Beth
